Vertigo works without an account. If you never sign in, we hold nothing about you. This page explains what changes when you do.

Vertigo Finance is run by Loud Agency, the data controller for everything described here. You can reach us at privacy@vertigofinance.eu.

An account holds three things, and nothing beyond them:

  • Your email address. It is how you sign in, and where a sign-in link or a confirmation is sent.
  • The language you chose, so the app opens in it next time.
  • Your watchlist: the assets you saved to follow.

Signed out, none of this exists. Prices, search and every asset page work without an account, and we build no profile of you.

Running the app takes a handful of other companies. Each one does a single job:

  • Supabase stores the account, the language and the watchlist, and handles signing in.
  • SendGrid delivers the messages we send you: the sign-in link, the welcome and the deletion confirmation.
  • Twelve Data supplies price history for equities, ETFs and indices.
  • Yahoo Finance supplies price history for European listings and market indices.
  • CoinGecko supplies the names and identifiers of crypto assets.
  • Vercel hosts the app and serves every page. Its server logs record requests, which is how we find errors.
  • Vercel Analytics counts page views. It sets no cookie and does not identify you, which is why this site asks for no cookie consent.

You can download everything we hold about you as a single file, and you can delete your account outright. Deleting removes the account, the saved language and the watchlist, and it cannot be undone.

Both controls are on your account page.

Anything about this notice, or any request about your own data, goes to privacy@vertigofinance.eu.
